SSD prices increase as Toshiba reduced production

The big companies specialized in producing memories and storage are few, from those companies Micron, Samsung and Toshiba. When those companies increase its production the market price go down, and vice versa when they decide to decrease production prices rise up. These companies increase and decrease production for just one reason, controlling market retail prices.Toshiba had already reduced its production 30%, and it will increase its production again to the normal ratio at the end of the third quarter after producing large amount of tablet devices, mobile phones and computers.

The company headquarter declares "this step will reduce the existing amount in market and will help in equalizing supply and demand", in other words, the production will be reduced to raise the prices again.

For example, Scan website displayed 120 GB Kingston HyperX 3k disk for 64 £ , but now play.com website displays the same disk for 90 £, with approximately price increase 40%.
