10 tips to keep the phone batteries as long as possible

If you expect a call and your phone battery icon began flash, the first thing you should do is to find charger. But if this is not an option, here are ten things you can do to make your phone stand.

We will move beyond the usual advices about the impact of memory and what kind of battery is best for you, as in this case you do not have the option to do so.

1 - Close the applications in the background
If you are using a smart phone, close the applications that do not need. Applications that remain active in the background using a bit of CPU, which deplete the battery. Make sure to come out through the list of applications, not by pressing 'End', which places the application in the background. In the "Series 60 smart phones" (mostly from Nokia), press the 'Menu' for a list of all applications running in the background to shut it down. In mobile "Windows 5", open the application 'Memory' tab and choose Running programs and close programs.

2 - Reduce screen brightness
Screen is from the most parts consuming mobile phone energy. The lower the brightness, the less energy consumed. Keep it low brightness as much as possible, as long as you can see! Also, some phones such as E61 and BlackBerry come with autofocus, as the brightness of the screen increases in brightly light places and fade in places of low-light. Turn off the auto-tunning if you set your phone screen to the low-light.

3 - Do not use animated wallpapers or screen savers
The animated wallpapers and screen savers can drain a little bit of the battery, as it consumes too little of the CPU. Stop running it.

4 - Turn off the lights for the keyboard
If you use the phone for a period of time, you may be able to use the keys without seeing it. If that, you can turn off the backlight of the keyboard. However, not many phones support this, but it is a property worth considering if your phone supports.

5 - Decrease screen time stand-out
Time committed to dim the screen of your property is adjustable in most phones. 10 seconds is good, 5 seconds is the best. Then set as low as can be as much as possible without becoming a troublesome situation for you.

6 - Turn off the vibration
The second advantage most consumes energy in any mobile phone is the property of vibration. See if you can stop it.
7 - Turn down the volume of the tones and keys and speakers during calls
If you are at home or in the office, lower your phone ring tone to save your phone battery. Also, most phones have the keys and tones similar to DTMF, which are not necessary if the keypad is decent. You can also reduce the earpiece volume during a call, and this also helps.

8 - disable the sound clarity / EFR / Voice Privacy
Almost all phones now strengthen (EFR) for voice communications which consumes a little bit more energy. In most cases, enhancing quality of EFR does not make a difference and that returns to the high levels of noise around us. Keep it suspended you will not miss him. Some phones (mostly from Samsung), have the feature 'voice privacy', which can also be turned off to save battery A1175.

9 - Turn off 3G / GPRS / EDGE
Most of the mobile relay 3G/UMTS/WCDMA Find 3g coverage by default. It will keep looking to drain your battery, so go to the screen determining the network and select GSM network only. Sometimes, GPRS or EDGE connections remain active in the back, be sure to disconnect after browsing the web.

10 - Use Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
If you sometimes use Bluetooth to transfer files to and from other devices, perhaps there is no need to keep it activated all the time. Most phones only come with the preparation of on / off Bluetooth. People tend to forget Bluetooth file transfer factor after, avoid doing that. The same thing applies to the Wi-Fi.

Other advice here - Search for a USB cable if your phone supports charging via USB. Finally, the advice does not recommend it too, but if you've tried everything above, perhaps you should follow it; Do not use the phone a lot, of course, you cannot use the features of the camera and the media (most Samsung phones will not even allow you, if the battery Eee PC 1000 is low).
You may not need to apply all these tips if the drop the battery does not cause any harassment to you, but I doubt it. But in any case I think that these tips will be useful especially if you're at a party or maybe a trip and will not have the opportunity to charge your phone.
